Job Description

HR Generalist

$20.00-$24.00/hr. (DOE)

Monday-Friday, 1st shift hours

Columbus, Ohio (onsite)



What the position offers:

  • 1-year contract to cover military leave, but also has the opportunity to extend or turn permanent!
  • Regular food trucks on site
  • Onsite security



What you’ll be doing:

  • Conduct annual performance reviews
  • Help facilitate employee conversations regarding policy enforcement, performance, attendance, & position changes, etc.
  • Provide information and guidance regarding benefits, and have knowledge of Ohio labor laws
  • Administer programs, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with strategic goals of the company
  • Maintain associate files
  • Administer disciplinary conversations and terminations if needed



Who we’re looking for:

  • Must have own reliable transportation; (will be traveling between 2 locations at times); will reimburse for mileage
  • 2-3+ years of HR Generalist experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment
  • ADP experience a plus
  • Strong computer skills (Outlook, typing, Excel, etc.)
  • Dress Code: long pants and closed toe shoes. Must own or purchase steel toed shoes (reimbursed up to $100 if you need to purchase)
  • Detail oriented
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
