Title: HR Generalist


Reporting To: CPO


Preferred Location: Austin, Texas


Core Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for mandatory filings
  • Manage compliance programs, mandatory filings and postings, policy updates and assist and track employee training.
  • Ensures accurate record keeping and documentation of personnel files
  • Handles all unemployment claims. 
  • Administer and communicate HR-related company programs, policies, and procedures to all staff and respond to employee and manager inquiries.
  • Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs.
  • Influence the short-term and long-term vision and core priorities for the Total Rewards function.
  • Manage I-9 vendor relationships, which includes setting and monitoring key success measures.
  • Continue to iterate and execute our employee pulse survey, methodology and system.
  • Ensure the company mission, vision, values and non-negotiables are embedded throughout all employee related programs and Benefits.
  • Analyze trends and data across the industry to identify systems, tools, solutions, programs and policies that encourage and support a positive employment experience.
  • Coordinate annual open enrollment process in partnership with HR management and broker.
  • Participate in developing and coordinating HR guidelines and procedures, including employee development plans and performance management.
  • Organize and coordinate administration of full employee life cycle events, including New Hire Orientation and paperwork, benefits, training sessions, and exits.
  • Create and influence effective programs and progressive practices for a distributed workforce.
  • Facilitate an engaging New Hire Orientation weekly.
  • Communicate benefits information to employees. Coordinate FMLA, STD, LTD, and other leave programs information with guidance 
  • First point of contact for general HR-related questions, including benefits


Requirements:


  • High level of customer service and dedication to the People of our company and acquired brands.
  • Ability to evaluate industry standards and benchmark employee benefit and compensation programs.
  • Plus, if relevant e-commerce, technology, retail or startup experience. 
  • Bachelor's degree required and a minimum of five years related HR experience. 
  • Ability to ensure all employee-related programs have company Values and Non-negotiables embedded in them effectively.
  • Strong working knowledge of HRIS systems, tools, and technologies. 
  • A "can-do" attitude, partnering with the wider Foundry team and its acquired brands to be a people partner to the business, ensuring everyone is set up for long-term success. 
  • Ability to maintain highly confidential information. 
  • Skilled in employee benefits administration. 
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local HR compliance and related reporting requirements.
