Location: Baltimore, MD 21222
- Compile and process weekly payroll data, ensuring accuracy and collaborating with local leadership and corporate Payroll as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal responsibilities.
- Coordinate the recruiting process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating the onboarding of new hires.
- Reconcile temporary workforce payroll and billing.
- Actively participate in all site HR, benefit, and wellness activities, such as new hire eligibility, open enrollment, life events, and general inquiries.
- Collaborate with local leadership to proactively address HR matters and foster strong relationships with both leadership and employees.
- Participate in Corporate HR projects.
- Coordinate Workers Compensation claims and reporting in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update employee data in HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
- Excellent organizational and Excel skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in Human Resources.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Payroll.
- 3 years of experience with ADP.
- Ability to travel locally up to 20% and within the US up to 10%.
- Experience with union environments.
- Current SHRM-CP or PHR certification or willingness to obtain.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business or Human Resources.
