POSITION DESCRIPTION
POSITION TITLE: Human Resources Coordinator
REPORTS TO: HR Solutions Team Manager
FLSA: Non-Exempt, Hourly
SCHEDULE: M- F 9am-5pm
COMPENSATION: $20.00- $22.00 per hour

PURPOSE
As part of the HR Solutions Team, the HR Coordinator is the first line of contact in the Human Resources Department and provides support in a variety of areas including employee relations, reporting, payroll, benefits, HRIS, recruiting, and organizational communication.
DELIVERABLES
First line of contact for all HR related inquires.Is the first line of contact for any HR inquiries from employees or leaders in the organization; Including: payroll, benefits, employee relations, HRIS, and recruiting. Possesses a fundamental working knowledge in these areas and handles basic to moderately complex issues. Refers escalated issues to the appropriate member of the Human Resources team.
HR task approvals.Reviews and approves HR tasks in the HRIS system including occasional background checks, E verify,personal information changes, offer letters, and employee position changes.
Provides additional administrative support to the department as needed.Provides administrative support including completing Verification of Employment forms, HR inbox support, maintaining employee records, and other duties as assigned.
Provides expertise to other members of the HR Solutions Team in a specified area.Each member of the HR Solutions Team will gain expertise in one or more specified areas of Human Resources, such as, payroll, benefits, HRIS, employee relations, and recruiting. Provides guidance to other members of the HR Solutions Team and works closely with the appropriate specialist in the department on more complex items. May assist and provide support to specialists with some projects in specified area of expertise.
Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
The qualifications for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • 2+ years administrative experience in a similar capacity.
  • Bachelor's degree or applicable work experience required.
  • Beginner experience with Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience or interest in Human Resources.
