Job Description


The Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for teaming with other HRBP's to develop and deliver the people aspects of the business plan for the entity you support. The HRBP provides strategic planning, direction and support; executive coaching; acts as a key liaison on all HR processes and responds to people-oriented emergencies. The HRBP also champions change initiatives and focuses on overall organizational effectiveness for the entity.


Performance Management and Professional Development


  • Manage on-going performance feedback processes by providing regular guidance and training on delivering and receiving feedback, contributing to and reviewing formal input, discussing personnel issues, and supporting the implementation of performance improvement plans.
  • Manage implementation and execution of major Human Resources processes (e.g. annual and midyear promotions, annual performance management, compensation and salary administration) according to geographic/entity guidelines
  • Coach career advocates and supervisors on the career development of all assigned personnel by providing guidance on career plans, coaching, and advising/approving required and elective training appropriate for their development.


Employee Relations and Employee Transitions


  • Manage the termination process by coordinating discussions, ensuring appropriate documentation, conducting/coordinating exit interviews, and elevating and/or addressing any resulting issues.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex personnel and employee relations issues and provide guidance and intervention, as needed to resolve personnel issues.
  • Manage the integration of new joiners.
  • Educate and advise executives on HR policy, ensure compliance to the company’s policies.


General HR


  • Lead the implementation of people programs and initiatives.
  • Team with HR Representative Generalists to share best practices and contribute to knowledge capital.
  • Manage attrition/retention, analyzing trends through headcount and exit data and recommending appropriate course of action.
  • Provide guidance to management on a variety of matters including absence, poor performance, managed terminations, disciplinary and grievance matters, flexible working arrangements, advising on legal framework, etc.
  • Assess skill gaps with leadership, execute plans for skill development areas and support team in identification of people to attend training.


Qualifications


  • Coaching/Facilitation skills
  • Must be able to interact effectively with employees and all levels of management
  • Employment Law
  • Conflict and change management
  • Proven track record of effective, multi-tasked project management
  • Proficient computer skills – Excel, Word, HRIS systems, general report writing
  • Ability to keep confidential information protected
  • 5+ years HR generalist experience (exposure to employee relations, performance management, salary administration, benefits, employment law, training and counseling)
  • Career management/performance management/ compensation


Additional Information


The anticipated salary range for this position is ($79,200- $138,000). Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
