Job Description

Position: HR Analyst, Training & Development

Location: Providence, RI

Job Type: Contract

Duration: 2 years+


Responsibilities

  • This role will provide support to the Office of Learning and Development including, but not limited to the following tasks: Assessing training needs and identifying suitable training solutions including the design, customization, and scheduling of on-site and e-learning programs
  • Maintaining evaluations and all training records; and preparing related reports.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Developing curriculum and training materials
  • Requirements Must be able to establish and deliver strategic goals and objectives.
  • Identifying faculty and/or personnel to deliver the training, coordinating the logistics of all sessions.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • 3-5 years of related experience in a Learning and Development function
  • And
  • A strong knowledge of adult instruction and learning theory and principles such as instructional design; training methodologies.
  • Have experience with online learning platforms.
  • Preparing course announcements, bulletins, outlines, handbooks, manuals, and other materials for use in programs
  • Education Bachelor’s degree with specialization in learning and development, human resources management, psychology, adult education, or a closely related field
  • Additionally, this position will support the Learning Management System (LMS) by training system administrators and builders, developing content, managing data transfers and the coordination of system expansion.
  • Ability to work independently as well as to serve as a contributing member of the team.
