As Hotel Manager, you will lead all aspects of hotel operations. Your goal will be to maximize the performance of the hotel by providing the highest possible quality of guest service and product by encouraging a positive culture and by delivering remarkable financial returns to investors. Areas of responsibility include Front Office, Spa & Wellness, Housekeeping, Security/Loss Prevention and Food & Beverage.
A little bit about your day
Reporting to the General Manager, every day is different, you will:
- Keeps the operations team focused on the critical components of operations to drive guest satisfaction and the desired financial result.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and enhance guest experience.
- Manage and train staff to provide exceptional service and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests during their stay.
- Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, procedures, and standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and maximize profitability.
- Maintain positive relationships with guests, employees, and vendors.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to heighten the guest experience.
- Coordinate with department heads to ensure the smooth operation of all hotel departments.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and employees at all times.
- Manage budgets and financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
- Adhere to Forbes standards and train team members to help build their skills and adapt to new service practices.
What We need from you:
- Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally in English.
- 10+ years of experience in hotel management in a luxury or ultra-luxury setting.
- Must be willing to work in a high performing dynamic team.
- Knowledge of local market and industry trends.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
What you can expect from us:
The annual pay range for this role is $180,000.00 to $220,000.00. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed at Regent Santa Monica. This is the lowest to highest pay scale we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. A team member’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
