The Beverly Wilshire a Four Seasons Hotel is looking for a Barista for The Blvd Restaurant who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. This position has the opportunity to shape employee experience by providing exceptional knowledge and service in support of our world-renowned hotels. The Barista position reports to the General Manager of The Blvd. Work authorization for the location is required.

Responsibilities

• Prior retail or customer service experience
• Must have a current Serv ing it Right certificate
• Breakdown, clean and set-up of barista areas. This include front of house, back of house and seating areas.
• Accommodate guest orders, anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
• Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
• R esponsible for making custom coffees, tea, hot cocoa etc
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
• Prior experience as a barista

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Assist with daily inventory and ordering.
• Stocking food and beverage and paper supplies.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

Preferred qualifications include previous experience of at least 1 year. Applicants are required to have high analytical and organizational skills. Speaking, writing and reading English is required. This position requires an applicant with a flexible schedule and the ability to work different shifts and some weekends.

Hourly: $24.40
