- Maintenance Technician About the hotel: The Comfort Suites located at 1081 Lydia drive Marysville, Ohio Your Responsibilities: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the installation and repair of all building systems, to ensure a safe, efficient, and comfortable operation of the hotel according to all brand standards. Is required to perform preventative maintenance as needed. Essential Qualifications: We are looking for someone who: Performs preventative maintenance on all guest rooms using the approved check list. This will include, but is not limited to, replacing lamps, repairing wallpaper, caulking, tile grout, faucets, toilets, changing filters, furniture repair, painting, etc. Maintain Hilton logs and inspection sheets Performs simple preventative maintenance tasks, i.e. replace HVAC filters, etc. Replace ceiling light bulbs in the public and office areas of the hotel Gives all emergencies and guest occupied rooms the highest priority Checks work orders daily to follow up on anything that needed parts or anything that may be left from the previous day Performs repair work given on all service orders and ensures all work is completed in a timely manner Handle minor repairs of wall vinyl, woodwork, etc. using basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills Aide other engineers in completing repair and maintenance work on the building and equipment that requires more than one person About Nivea Hospitality: Nivea Hospitality is a management partner to hotels and resorts, committed to delivering excellence in guest services, employee development, and hotel operations.
