We have an opening to join our Engineering Team at the Sheraton Portsmouth Harborside Hotel!

Our Engineering Team ensures an outstanding guest experience by providing as-needed repair service during the guest's stay as well as ongoing preventative maintenance of our building and equipment.

General Duties of our Maintenance Technicians include tasks such as:

• Conducting daily rounds of building and parking lot area
• Special projects and duties to be assigned on as needed basis.
• Maintaining grounds area (trash removal, snow removal, plant care)
• Conducting preventative maintenance of general areas and guestrooms
• Responding to guest's request for maintenance assistance.
• Responding to hotel department requests for maintenance assistance.
• Maintaining indoor swimming pool

For the position of our Maintenance Technician position, previous experience in electrical, plumbing and basic carpentry is required, and previous knowledge and experience in HVAC is helpful.

The Maintenance Technician position does need flexibility in scheduling, including weekends and holidays.
