Villatel’s flagship property, Villatel Orlando, is seeking a Hospitality Recruiter/Generalist to join the team for the opening of a 526-home rental community, with water park and F&B amenities centrally located on Orlando’s famed International Drive, next to Universal’s newest theme park, Epic Universe. As the first-ever hospitality brand in the vacation rental sector, Villatel simultaneously designs, maintains, and services every home we put on the market. We are looking for an experienced hospitality HR professional to join our rapidly growing team as a Hospitality Recruiter/Generalist! As Villatel’s Recruiter, you will play a vital role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent for our organization in addition to adding value to Villatel's growing HR Department. Utilizing your exceptional interpersonal skills, deep understanding of our industry, and proven track record in talent acquisition, you will collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. Your primary objective will be to identify and engage qualified candidates, conduct interviews, and guide them through the selection process. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Talent Acquisition Strategy:

  • Create and review job descriptions for accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor analysis, and best practices in hospitality and property management recruitment.
  • Establish and document compensation benchmarks for respective roles.
  • Identify appropriate sourcing channels, including job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, and industry events.

Candidate Sourcing, Screening, Engagement, and Selection:

  • Extend job offers and negotiate employment terms in collaboration with the HR and hiring Managers.
  • Utilize various sourcing techniques to identify potential candidates, such as resume databases, direct sourcing, referrals and job fairs.
  • Coordinate and conduct in-person or virtual interviews with candidates, including panel interviews and behavioral assessments.
  • Review resumes, cover letters, and applications to assess candidate qualifications and match them with the job requirements.
  • Conduct reference checks and background verifications for selected candidates.
  • Provide guidance and information to candidates regarding job details, company culture, and career opportunities.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to evaluate candidates and make informed selection decisions.
  • Establish and maintain a strong relationship with candidates to ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the talent acquisition process.

Recruitment Administration and Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations pertaining to recruitment and hiring practices.
  • Assist in establishing an applicant tracking system (ATS) or recruitment database.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records and documentation.

Onboarding and Orientation:

  • Develop and execute the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new hires including equipment requisitions.
  • Coordinating orientation programs and providing necessary resources to help new associates acclimate to their roles.

Employer Branding and Networking:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with educational institutions, industry associations, and other relevant organizations to attract top talent.
  • Promote the organization’s employer brand and values in all interactions with candidates and external stakeholders.
  • Attend industry events, job fairs, and professional networking functions to build relationships and expand talent networks.

Assist in departmental projects including but not limited to:

  • Creating and documenting departmental Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute the human resources programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and time off.
  • Assist in enforcing company policies and procedures, compliance requirements, associate training, etc.

Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.



REQUIREMENTS.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), and other technology.
  • High level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably within the hospitality or service industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry, including various roles and skill requirements.
  • Must be bilingual, proficient in English and Spanish.
  • Strong interviewing and assessment skills, with the ability to evaluate candidates effectively.
  • Position is an on-site position.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • May be required to travel to various company locations and/or vendor offices through Greater Orlando / Central Florida as needed.
  • Have a flexible schedule, able to work weekends as needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, hospitality management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
