Hedge Fund Rates Sales - Vice President

As a Vice President in JPMorgan's Hedge Fund and Asset Manager Rates Sales team, you will be responsible for coverage of institutional hedge funds and asset managers for G10 rates products. The products you will cover include G10 government bonds, flow rates derivatives, exotic derivatives, and inflation-linked products. This is a senior position and prior 5-7 years of experience in rates sales or a related field is required. As the senior salesperson, you will act as lead coverage and partner with trading peers around execution, and engage with research colleagues to deliver both generic and tailored content.
Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze large sets of data to identify market trends, tradeable patterns, and leading indicators
• Advise clients on asset allocation, trade construction, and execution strategies
• Manage execution of all G10 rates products for institutional clients
• Assist in training and developing junior members of the team
• Work closely with partners in onboarding, legal, and credit to manage documentation process for new and existing clients
• Comply with all legal and regulatory requirements
• Liaise with research and trading partners to deliver unique market insights to our clients

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Thorough understanding of the rates product suite (bonds, swaps, swaptions, exotics, etc.)
• Proven ability to efficiently manage client relationships
• Ambitious mindset to develop unique solutions to problems our clients face
• Inclusive leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across different groups and regions
• Strong understanding of macroeconomics
• Ability to deliver results amidst continuous change in an agile work environment
• 5+ years of markets sales experience, preferably in rates

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Familiarity with computer programming
• Background in Economics, Finance, or a quantitative field
