Health/Wellness Coach I Prn

Job Summary:

The Health/Wellness Coach works closely with clients in promoting wellness, as well as, assists through the process of actively working towards better health by providing support, encouragement, and education through the usage of knowledge of specific disease and lifestyle related topics such as smoking cessation, weight management, nutrition, and stress reduction.

Required Qualifications:

• Require a Bachelor's degree; preferably in a health-related field (i.e., Nutrition, Health Science, Behavioral Psychology, Kinesiology, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prefer demonstrated organizational skills.
• Prefer demonstrated interpersonal relations and customer service skills that reflect the standards of SMHCS.
• Prefer one (1) year of health coach or wellness program experience.
• Prefer demonstrated computer proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and social media.
• Prefer current/active Health Coach certification or equivalent.
• Prefer demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Prefer demonstrated knowledge of the healthcare industry.
