We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Remote Healthcare Call Center Representatives for Benefits Verification. As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring patient and prescription information is handled with precision and compliance. Your dedication to maintaining the integrity of Prescription Records and adhering to HIPAA regulations will be essential in supporting our Compliance and Persistency Programs.
Responsibilities
Provide accurate and concise patient and prescription information while strictly adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
Respond to customer requests for Protected Health Information from various sources such as Insurance Companies, Housing Agencies, Attorney's Offices, Federal and State agencies, ensuring timely and compliant delivery.
Process requested information using the Accounting & Disclosure System.
Offer phone support for Prescription Records and Compliance 800 numbers, addressing customer and requester inquiries and concerns.
Provide email support for Prescription Records, responding promptly to customer and requester emails regarding prescription record requests and status updates.
Requirements
Previous experience in a high-volume call center within a fast-paced customer service environment is a plus.
Familiarity with medical terminology is advantageous.
Capable of thriving in a high-volume, production-oriented, and time-sensitive setting.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to multitask effectively.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Proficiency in data entry, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as the ability to quickly learn internal computer applications.
Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
