Health And Wellness Coach

Responsibilities

• Supports Management team as needed
• Assist members with recognizing health-related problems and developing appropriate solutions to resolve health hurdles
• Demonstrates commitment to team goals by assisting and offering input to Program Leader in the development of evidence-based resources to enhance the Care Concierge/Wellness Coaching Program
• Educate members on available client-purchased tools through the business unit's system
• Stay updated on current issues regarding wellness programs
• Assist members in updating and modifying their health goals and action plans through the core systems while proactively taking steps to maintain member engagement and dedication
• Develop relationships with members who utilize the wellness service in order to give best coaching advice on health-related issues and ongoing support
• Promote, monitor, evaluate, and ensure that all wellness programs run smoothly with a high level of service to participants
• Attend follow-up Coach Approach training as offered

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and phone etiquette
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Minimum of 1 Year of Strength and Conditioning Coaching Experience
• Associate's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in fitness, public health, healthcare management, or a related field required.
• Demonstrates Good Judgement and conflict resolution skills
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required
• Excellent customer service and customer resolution skills
• Experience and/or background in Ice Hockey Strength and Conditioning
• Highly effective listening skills
• Strong problems solving/issue-resolution skills
• Applicable fitness, training, dietary, or other related certifications preferred
