Head Of Supply Jobs

The ROLE: The Head of Supply plays a critical role overseeing all of 4stay’s supply business. This individual will source new student housing supply, manage vendor and operator relationships, and ensure the quality and growth of 4stay’s supply portfolio. The Head of Supply will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to deepen 4stay’s partnerships with existing and new vendors and operators, establishing and maintaining quality standards for supply, and managing a team of supply professionals.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build and manage relationships with vendors and operators, negotiating and securing favorable terms and pricing to maximize supply growth and profitability
• Create and manage supply-related processes and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness in managing supply
• Analyze supply and market data to inform decision-making and ensure strategic alignment with business objectives
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity to inform supply strategy and ensure 4stay remains competitive in the student housing market
• Establish and maintain quality standards for supply to ensure a consistent and high-quality customer experience
• Attend industry events and conferences to network with potential partners and stay informed about the latest developments in the student housing industry.
• Develop and manage a team of supply professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to enable individual and team growth and success
• Regular travel required throughout North America
• Develop and implement strategies to source student housing inventory across all markets to support 4stay's growth objectives
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to supply, including inventory growth, quality standards, and revenue, to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with business objectives
• Work closely with the Demand team, CEO and other cross-functional teams to align supply and demand, optimizing supply allocation and pricing to maximize profitability

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field a plus
• Experience in the real estate industry, student housing or related industry
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
• Proven experience working in a fast-paced startup environment, with a ‘can-do’ attitude and a solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team of supply professionals
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors and operators
