The purpose of the UK&I Head of Operations is to oversee the efficient and effective functioning of VPS operational activities. Responsible for managing and coordinating all operational processes, systems, and resources, you will ensure smooth day-to-day operations and achieve goals aligned to the strategic objectives of the company to drive customer centricity
Role Duties

• Effective team leadership: You will oversee and support the UK&I operational teams, providing guidance, training, and resources necessary for success. You will foster a positive work environment, promote collaboration, and motivate employees to achieve operational objectives.
• Ensure quality assurance: playing a vital role in maintaining quality standards throughout the organisation, you will establish quality control measures, conduct audits, and implement corrective actions to ensure products or services meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Oversee strategic planning: In collaboration with senior management, you will develop long-term operational plans aligned with the organisation's goals in planned and reactive works. You will actively contribute to decision-making processes, provide insights on operational capabilities and constraints, and propose strategies for growth and improvement across all product and service lines.
• Drive operational efficiency: optimise the use of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to maximize productivity and minimise costs. You will analyse existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
• Drive process Management: Working with the wider UK&I team, you will establish and manage standardised processes and procedures to streamline operations. Through effective development of workflows, you will set performance standards and monitor key metrics to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Support supply chain management: responsible for overseeing the UK&I supply chain process, you will liaise directly with the GC team under CSF7 to ensure effective inventory management, and logistics. You will ensure the timely and cost-effective sourcing of product through the internal CAPEX process, manage inventory levels to meet demand, and coordinate transportation and distribution activities.
