Head Of Fp&A - Renewables

Piper Maddox has partnered with an exciting renewable energy company backed by a global infrastructure investment firm.

This rapidly growing company is looking for a Head of FP&A to lead the function. The person will have the opportunity to grow the team and implement processes and procedures, forecasts, budgets, liquidity and long-term strategic plans. In addition, this person will provide financial and strategic support to senior management which will shape the business going forward.

Must be in location Colorado, Utah or Southern California.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage financial and strategic planning and work together with Senior Management, to develop long-term operating plans.
• Lead forecasting process; assessment/interpretation and reporting of the information.
• Develop key performance metrics and measure the company's growth and development
• Engage in ad-hoc financial analysis, including special projects at the request of senior management and external investors.
• Build complex financial models and run analysis to support strategic planning.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Advanced financial excel modeling abilities and proficiency; basic programming (VBA, Python, R) is a plus
• Master’s Degree and/or CFA is preferred.
• Experience applying financial planning and analysis to a broad range of business problems and opportunities in a strategic and proactive manner
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with a deep experience and understanding of general business and financial acumen.
• Strong curiosity in tackling complex business problems; dives deeply into the data, relentlessly pursues what it means and how these insights drive decision-making.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or mathematics.
• Ability to influence company actions through reasoned analysis and good judgment about people and business issues.
• Problem solver - driven to work in a dynamic growing environment.
