Position: Head of Finance

Location: Kauai, HI

Experience/Education: High School Graduate or GED and ten (10) years of finance experience OR Bachelor’s Degree and six (6) years of experience in finance and accounting; Must have five (5) years of project management experience

Type: Full-time; Direct Hire

Schedule: M-F Normal Business Hours

Pay: $170,000/yr

HB Staffing is seeking a Head of Finance to join a growing & dynamic company!

:

• Other duties as needed
• Responsibilities include: Joint Venture Financial Reporting, Personnel Management, Program/Project Management, and Project Reconciliation and Closeout
• Develop reporting tools, processes and structure to capture actual performance versus budgeted performance and identify variances as part of an overall performance reporting
• Develop tools and processes and plan and coordinate meetings, tasks and communications to develop Annual Strategic and Business Plans with department managers and executive leaders
• Manage internal project initiatives and related budgets

Job Requirements:

• Must have experience in budget and project management
• Must have proven ability to manage across multiple work streams simultaneously, possess exceptional organizational skills and be meticulous in planning, documenting, communicating and controlling
• Secret security clearance is required (Applicants selected either must currently possess a Secret clearance or will be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain clearance prior to commencement of employment, and maintain a security clearance for access to classified information or Closed/Restricted Areas throughout duration of employment)
• Must possess strong financial and accounting skills and have a sound understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP), U.S. Government Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) and Joint Travel Regulations (JTR)
• Must possess the following PC skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Experience in Government contracts highly preferred
