Graphic Designer (Hybrid) Jobs

Compensation Range: $32 - 37 per hour

Our client, an innovative energy services company, is looking for a dynamic Graphic Designer to join their Communications & Member Engagement department and take it to new heights!

In this role, you will produce strategic designs for the company's printed and electronic materials, and serve as a project manager with internal staff. If you live and breathe digital design, have a flair for creating eye-popping visuals, and the magic touch for video editing and animation, this is your moment to shine!

This is a hybrid contract-to-hire opportunity in DC!

Responsibilities:

• Support company partner organizations/affiliate members and company member programs with the creation of meeting materials, advertisements, social media graphics, etc.
• Assist with the design and production of company magazine and relevant promotional materials following set specifications, providing proofs for review, and preparing projects for end use.
• Produce functional, cost-effective, strategic material consistent with company graphic standards, project objectives, and identity policy.
• Maintain electronic filing system for projects and supporting artwork (including stock photography); archiving proofs, project notes, and correspondence.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferably in communication arts, graphic design, or a related field.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective, professional relationships with good interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience level: Experienced
• Proficiency in current software (adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, PowerPoint, Office 365).
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• 3 years as a graphic designer with a trade association, corporation, public relations firm, ad agency, or similar environment.
• Expertise in print/electronic design for a variety of communication and marketing materials.
• Knowledge in print production and printing industry standards, as well as electronic publication applications.
