Job Description

Our client, a Tier1 Casino Content Provider, is looking for a UX / UI Designer to join their team in Malta.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain mock-ups, usage scenarios, prototypes, specifications, navigation maps, and other design documents
  • Contribute to and help maintain our client's evolving design system and methodology with new ideas
  • Work both independently and as part of a team
  • Design the game flow, concepts, new features
  • Prepare source files for development and supervise implemented design
  • Be the team’s design leader by taking ownership of the design process — collaborating with product managers to assist in defining priorities and turn requirements into wireframes, mockups and prototypes.
  • Come up with new ideas, creative solutions
  • Design highly usable and delightful user interfaces, experiences, and visuals week in and week out as part of a product team; owning both UX and visual design responsibilities
  • Present design work to teams and stakeholders
  • Participate in design reviews, team meetings and brainstorming sessions
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet set deadlines

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of user-centred design principles, information and visual design best practices, including web standards and accessibility.
  • Working on projects that are connected with Mental Models, User Journey, Concept Maps.
  • Understanding target audiences' needs, motivations, goals and translating them into creative concepts
  • Experience using Adobe Suite tool
  • UX and UI Design (including responsive) experience in iGaming
  • Ability to perform within tight deadlines
  • Creative, analytical, empirical, and empathetic approach to problem solving; meticulous attention to detail as well as strategic grasp of the “big picture”.
  • Relevant work experience is required with a strong, up to date portfolio showcasing UX and UI Design.
  • Creativity, problem-solving, passion and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience within the following disciplines under the UX umbrella – Information Architecture, Interaction Design and Visual Design.
