We are looking for a UI/UX designer to help us improve our customer and internal applications. You will work in collaboration with the rest of the production team to complete all projects within the department in an efficient and timely manner while maintaining quality output standards. You must have strong attention to detail and the ability to switch between projects based on current priorities and deadlines set by the team lead. If you are flexible, stress-tolerant, and motivated, able to work independently or in a team setting, you are the perfect person for this position.


What You'll Do


  • Create visual elements such as icons, logos, original images, and illustrations to help deliver a message
  • Responsible for the design of user experiences for a variety of applications
  • Use design tools to produce new designs for our customer-facing and internal applications
  • Proficient in design tools (e.g. Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD)
  • Prototype design solutions for review, testing, and handoff
  • Meet with the product manager to determine scope
  • Understand the brand, marketing initiatives, strategic positioning, and target audience
  • Design layouts, including a selection of colors, images, and typefaces
  • Use analytics tools such as Hotjar and Google Analytics to identify opportunities to improve our customer experience
  • Create responsive designs for multiple contexts and devise (e.g. desktop, mobile, tablet)
  • Evaluating ease of use, utility, and efficiency in performing tasks
  • Translate low-fidelity wireframes and prototypes to effectively conceptualize and communicate high-level design strategies
  • Manage your workload efficiently with the ability to have multiple ongoing projects


What You'll Bring:
  • Ability to wireframe, prototype, and validate work with design tools(e.g. Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD)
  • Strong portfolio that demonstrates creative concept development and graphic design
  • Advanced understanding of the online user experience
  • Exceptional creative, technical, and analytic skills
  • Able to work in a team and independently to develop and resolve designs, enhancements, and fixes on tight timelines
  • 3-5 years of graphical design experience (portfolio and samples required)
  • In-depth knowledge of graphic creation with design tools (e.g. Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD)
  • Deadline-oriented
  • UX/UI subject matter expert
  • Strong communication skills
  • BS/BA degree in Design, Visual Design, or related field preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
