Graphic Designer - Beauty

Adecco Creative & Marketing is seeking a highly collaborative Graphic Designer for visual merchandising who has experience of producing dynamic, editorial visuals while maintaining brand integrity across multiple accounts.

This individual should bring an exacting aesthetic and sharp attention to detail.

Organization is highly expected as well as being able to balance multiple, fast-moving needs of multiple timelines. They would eventually have direct responsibility for the management of specific account timelines and graphics/walls as well as handling reviewing retouching and printer proofs.

The position will require 2-3 days onsite in NYC and is a contract role for 8+ months

In the role you will:

• Interpret briefs, creating layouts within the framework of guidelines & style guides.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and merchandising to fully understand creative scope and needs
• Direct retouching, aligning to layout requirements
• Adapt design across multiple systems and design under tight timelines and time constraints
• Prepare/direct mechanical die line production, file preparations for prepress and print production
• Organize, prepare, and track all graphics/rights/merch systems for multiple accounts
• Manage and direct color matching and print proof supervision/approvals

The ideal candidate will have:

• Timeline management capabilities
• Deep expertise with all relevant design software including Adobe Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Strong sense of visual style - photography, design, typography, etc.
• Accustomed to following a creative brief as a standard for design development
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Management skills for directing auxiliary teams, i.e. photographers, studios, model makers, and display vendors required
• Beauty industry experience is a plus
• Strong sense of visual style - photography, design, typography, etc.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
