Grants Management Sme - Part-Time, Fema (Remote)

Jefferson Solutions, a well-respected government consulting company of the Jefferson Consulting Group and women-owned small business, is looking for a Grants Management SME to support FEMA part-time, up-to/not-to-exceed 20 hours per weeks. This position will be virtual.

We are seeking a federal grants management SME who can advise the agency on a large federal grant program. The grants specialist will provide advice on the administration, implementation, management, and reporting of the grant to Client, to include the negotiation of the budget, award period, and terms and conditions; monitor all phases of award through closing; and evaluate budget justifications.

Responsibilities:

• Raise concerns, risks, and issues with the program office and the grantee
• Review grantee report submissions for accuracy and compliance
• Observe and implement improvements in grant administration
• Provide insights, direction, and recommendations for grant compliance
• Serve as a liaison between the program office, the grant programs directorate, and the grantee
• Establish lessons learned

Desired Skills:

• 10-15+ years of grants management experience
