Grants Management Specialist- Part-Time Fema (Remote)

Jefferson Solutions, a well-respected government consulting company of the Jefferson Consulting Group and women-owned small business, is looking for a Grants Management Specialist to support FEMA part-time. This position will be virtual.

We are seeking a federal grants management specialist who can advise the agency on a large federal grant program. The grants specialist will provide advice on the administration, implementation, management, and reporting of the grant to Client, to include the negotiation of the budget, award period, and terms and conditions; monitor all phases of award through closing; and evaluate budget justifications.

Responsibilities:

• Review grantee report submissions for accuracy and compliance
• Establish lessons learned
• Serve as a liaison between the program office, the grant programs directorate, and the grantee
• Provide insights, direction, and recommendations for grant compliance
• Observe and implement improvements in grant administration
• Raise concerns, risks, and issues with the program office and the grantee
