As a Global Sales Director, you'll be at the forefront of driving the expansion and cultivating key relationships, particularly within the automotive industry.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between sales strategies and operational capabilities.
- Provide regular reporting on sales performance, pipeline, and market insights to senior management.
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of 6 sales professionals spread across Germany, Netherlands, USA, and Asia.
- Build and nurture relationships with key clients, driving customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, with a primary focus on the automotive industry.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments to inform strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of successful sales leadership in the logistics industry, preferably within express transport or related fields.
- Experience managing remote teams across multiple regions.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and team coordination.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at executive levels.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to drive innovative sales initiatives and adapt to evolving market dynamics.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field (Master's/MBA preferred).
- Strong background in hunting and securing new clients, specifically within the automotive sector.
