Global Omnichannel Operations Manager

Summary:

The Manager of Global Omnichannel Operations role is an exciting and critical role on the Omnichannel Experience + Operations team residing in the New York office, supporting global retail and distributor locations, alexanderwang.com as well as DTC marketplaces. This role reports into the Director, Global Omnichannel Operations and will impact both client and employee experience through their ability to build effective and efficient solutions through detailed and proactive communications. *travel is required for this role*

Key Objectives

1. Co-develop and maintain DTC operations manuals across retail, e-commerce and corporate; draft, communicate, and ensure adoption of new policies across internal teams
2. Lead or support Director with major strategic initiatives and projects; Manage cross-functional teams during the planning and execution phases to ensure great results
3. Assist with budget planning activities including partnering with various impacted teams to gather requests, organize data, and track expenditures.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Omnichannel Operations

• Draft/update, organize, and implement new policies tailored to the specific needs of global regions
• Own the global retail packaging programs across all distribution channels from order compilation to allocation and invoicing

Retail Operations

• Assist Director, Omnichannel Operations with store P&L oversight and budget planning
• Travel to all retail locations as needed to assist with operations trainings or to support new store openings
• Oversee Retail Communication function and administer Concrete Communication Platform, including updates to company news, policies, processes, recognition, and contests
• Own global retail uniform ordering process including size compilation, distribution, policy communication, and feedback gathering
• Co-own new store location retro-planning as well as minor works projects and maintenance
• Co-author and maintain store operations manual; ensure all new and existing teams are trained on operational processes

E-Commerce Operations

• Create and communicate instructional directives to warehouses as needed
• Assist Client Services Manager with applicable policies and optimization of Customer Service Platform

Position Skills & Requirements:

• Highly organized, creative problem solver, and critical thinker
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (excel, powerpoint, and word)
• At least 3+ years corporate retail experience
• Retail store experience a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in business or relevant field
• High level (multi-store or high-volume flagship) operations experience
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and communicate to regional teams across time zones

In compliance with the New York City salary transparency requirements, the potential salary range for this position is from $85,000 to 90,000, which represents a range commensurate with experience, knowledge, and skills required.
