On our team, you’ll use your analytical skills and data science knowledge to create real-world impact. You’ll work closely with your clients to understand their questions and needs, and then dig into their data-rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle. You’ll develop algorithms and systems and use the right combination of tools and frameworks to turn sets of disparate data points into objective answers to help clients make informed decisions. Ultimately, you’ll provide a deep understanding of the data, what it all means, and how it can be used.

You Have:

• Knowledge of extract, transform, and load best practices for geospatial data
• Ability to convey complex information and processes to a diverse audience effectively
• Experience with ArcGIS Desktop, including ArcGIS Pro and ArcMap
• Knowledge of local and enterprise geodatabase design, management, and deployment
• Ability to work creatively and manage multiple project deliverables with limited guidance in a dispersed team environment
• Experience with Python, ArcPy, or Jupyter Notebooks
• Ability to work with incomplete and imperfect spatiotemporal datasets
• Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience with identifying quantitative and geospatial approaches and tailoring analysis methods to answer complex intelligence questions or problems

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with working in the Defense or Intelligence community
• Experience with open-source GIS, including QGIS
• Experience with spatial statistics and spatiotemporal modeling methods
• Experience with ArcGIS Model Builder
• Experience with Web based GIS, including ArcGIS Enterprise and Portal for ArcGIS
• Knowledge of defense or intelligence data sources or analytic tools
• Experience with the verification and validation of complex computational models
• Experience with static and dynamic cartographic production
• Master's degree
• Experience with automating geocoding

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,000.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
