New Jersey Natural Gas, a subsidiary of New Jersey Resources is seeking a GIS Analyst Intern to assist with various duties required to maintain the company's Geographic Information System (GIS) in Engineering.
Responsibilities:

• Use ArcGIS to digitize, edit attributes and update spatial data
• Assist with field research and data collection using GPS equipment
• Review and verify the address information to assist in successful geo-coding activities
• Assist GIS/Drafting staff as required to update the GIS system

Position Requirements:

• Must have a valid New Jersey state drivers’ license
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in physical sciences (geography, geology, environmental sciences) or engineering degree

This is a 10-week paid summer position from June to August, Monday through Friday. Positions are open to undergraduate students, pursuing a degree in specified area of study. Candidates who have completed their Bachelor's degree or pursuing a Master’s degree are not eligible for the intern program and welcome to apply to full time opportunities.
