Girls Golf Coach Jobs

Position Summary:
Girls Golf Coach is a seasonal part time position. Its primary function is to coach the SHC Golf Team. The role is responsible for character development and providing direction to student athletes so that they might achieve a high level of skill as well as an appreciation for discipline, sportsmanship and teamwork.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and oversee the SHC Golf program.
• Models good sportsmanship behavior and maintain appropriate conduct towards opposing team, fans, parents, officials, spectators and community.
• Works directly with school athletic trainers in reporting injuries, teaching precautions and procedures to ensure staff/student safety and help students prevent injuries.
• Support the mission and policies of SHC and the charisms of the Daughters of Charity and De La Salle Christian Brothers through active mission and Catholic formation.
• Participates in all required coaches, student athlete and parent meetings scheduled by the Athletic Directors.
• Completes Required forms and documents in a timely manner.
• Consults with the Athletic Director(s) on regular basis.
• Work closely with the Athletic Director(s) to hire qualified assistant coaches.
• Ensures that team rules and regulations regarding conduct and eligibility of the athletes are clearly communicated and followed.
• Demonstrates skill sets and techniques necessary for individual and team development.
• Maintains Strong Interpersonal Skills.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Creates a safe environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the physical, social, and emotional development of students.
