Job Description

Job Requirements

  • Develops, manages, and maintains security-related processes, procedures, training, and improvement plans for officer performance and overall service delivery.
  • Proactively manages, provides guidance, and coaches Security Officers and Site Security Leads, and supports Site Security Leads’ efforts to do the same with their own site teams.
  • Provide leadership and process within the company to ensure that all employees support
  • Develop client relations and secure new business opportunities.Coordinating & transitioning new contracts startup
  • Regularly meet with customers to ensure mutual goals and objectives are met. Listen to the customer and provide highly effective security solutions to accomplish the customer’s goals.
  • Responsible for security operations and customer contract services and will keep the CEO informed of those operations.
  • Institute processes to measure and report on operational performance and develop plans to improve relevant key performance indicators.
  • Responsible for assessing all the current operational programs, policies, and practices of the Company, and will work to identify opportunities for efficiencies, and to re-engineer and build new programs and policies as appropriate.
  • Supports regulatory, industry, and contractual compliance, such as license and training requirements.

  • Supervision, training, and evaluation of work performance and making recommendations/changes where applicable.

  • Execute operations and training while maintaining the sound discipline of corporate procedures.
  • Successfully complete operational initiatives.
  • Ensure that the operations, the infrastructure, and the capabilities of the company are cutting edge and support the company’s vision.
  • Travel as required to service the Company’s accounts, and as directed by the CEO for other matters.
  • Verifies security team is operating in compliance with security procedures, standards, policies, and best practices.

Responsible for the oversight of the Administration, Compliance, Finance, and Human Resources operations:

  • Have knowledge and understanding of HR regulations, including ADA, FMLA, HIPAA, FSLA, COBRA, and OSHA.
  • Ensure and maintain sound audit procedures complying with governmental regulations.
  • Oversee the recruitment and training for all employee positions.
  • Maintain performance and operate within fiscal parameters; strong P&L management is a must.
  • Lead CBA contract negotiations with security officer union(s)
  • Ensure efficient operation of the Human Resources Department
  • Establish company budgets and forecasts in collaboration with the Corporate Controller and implement and manage the same.
  • Establish and direct financial processes with the Corporate Controller to manage the company’s financial performance.
  • Establish, communicate, and manage business continuity and emergency preparedness plans.
  • Travel 25%-30%
  • Possess a full understanding of union collective bargaining agreements (“CBA”) and the ability to resolve employee/union grievances as outlined in the CBA.
  • May be requested to perform other duties as assigned based on situational needs or client activity.
  • Manage and oversee the administration of all corporate benefit plans (medical, 401K compensation) and insurance (General Liability, Workers Compensation, Commercial, Auto, Umbrella, Directors & Officers)

  • Bachelor Degree preferred; commensurate experience accepted in lieu of degree
  • Knowledge of and experience working with labor unions
  • Professional and positive demeanor with the ability to always represent the company

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
