Off Lease Only LLC is seeking a General Manager!

Summary:

This job is primarily responsible for managing the sales and finance teams to achieve store volume goals.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Discuss job performance problems with employees to identify causes and issues and to work on resolving problems. Render employee disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Coordinate with the corporate office to ensure that records and analyses are correctly maintained.
  • Direct administrative activities directly related to selling vehicles.
  • Address any customer complaints that department managers are unable to rectify and take the necessary steps to resolve these complaints.
  • Complete and deliver employee performance reviews; coordinate employee pay increases with Human Resources and Executive Management.
  • Perform personnel functions such as selection, training, or evaluation.
  • Direct and coordinate activities of the dealership and departments concerned with the, sales of vehicles.
  • Monitor daily operations, recommending and creating improved courses of action where necessary.
  • Manage sales, and finance department in the dealership.
  • Utilize ADP, CDK and Dealersocket to pull deals, input and access customer information.
  • Maintain an enthusiastic attitude to build positive employee attitudes and morale.
  • Create and maintain a good working relationship with lending institutions.
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate the daily operations of the dealership.
  • Monitor suppliers to ensure that they efficiently and effectively provide needed goods or services within budgetary limits.
  • Oversee the hiring and training of all department managers.
  • Prepare staff work schedules and assign specific duties.
  • Plan and develop short and long-term goals and objectives annually, and submitting time projections to corporate management for approval.
  • Manage the movement of vehicles into and out of the dealership to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, or sustainability of operations.
  • Coordinate regular meetings with the managers of each department to ensure their profitability and efficiency.
  • Establish or implement dealership policies, goals, objectives, or procedures in conjunction with corporate policies, organization officials, or staff members.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position supervises employees.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a complete understanding of vehicle sales and vehicle financing.
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience in sales or finance management in an automotive dealership.
  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred or experience commensurate with education.
  • A valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record in the sole discretion of Off Lease Only.
