General Ledger Accountant Jobs

Ready to join an industry leading team? Our client, a well-known and well-respected professional services firm, is seeking a General Ledger Staff Accountant to support their continued growth. The Staff Accountant will support full-cycle GL accounting: managing journal entries, reconciliations, financial reporting, and month/year end close. The ideal candidate will have 1-4 years' experience, the professionalism, and business acumen to make an impact as part of an international brand. Responsibilities:

• Support preparation of financial reports including financial statements
• Examine reports on fixed asset acquisitions and disposals, considering the associated gains or losses
• Deliver detailed, high quality, and timely reports as requested
• Special projects and other duties as assigned
• Coordinate with third-party auditors as needed, gathering and maintain supporting documentation as necessary
• Assist with month and year end close procedures
• Maintain office lease and sublease schedules for all office locations
• Responsible for general ledger accounting, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and prepaids

Qualifications:

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field required
• Communication skills with the ability to interact with wide range of people across multiple levels the organization
• Ability to multi-task to meet deadlines, with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
• Ideal candidate will have prior experience (1-4 years) in general ledger accounting
