PeopleShare is seeking a Senior or Staff Accountant in Richmond, VA!

Details about Accountant Position:

•$60,000 - $125,000 depending on experience

•Schedule: Monday- Friday 8am-5pm

•Full Benefits including Continued Education

Responsibilities for the Accountant Position:

•Coordinating accounting functions and programs.

•Preparing financial analyses and reports.

•Preparing revenue projections and forecasting expenditure.

•Assisting with preparing and monitoring budgets.

•Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.

•Assisting with annual audit preparations.

•Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.

•Preparing federal, state, local, and special tax returns.

•Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.

•Performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned.

Requirements of the Accountant Position:

•Senior Staff Accountant: Licensed Certified Public Accountant with at least 3-5 years of current experience in public accounting

•Staff Accountant: Obtained degree in accounting

•Fully proficient in Ultra Tax, QuickBooks desktop, Quickbooks online, Excel, AdvanceFlow and GoFileRoom
