Junior Accountant Jobs

Peraton is seeking a Junior Accountant to join our accounting department in Chantilly, VA.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following – Helps with month end close in reviewing and uploading entries in Costpoint. Reconcile assigned accounts on a monthly basis, research miscellaneous cash receipts by reaching to various teams, reach out to appropriate stakeholders to fix the reconciling items before next month end close. Assist with month end flash package in explaining the month to month variance in Trial Balance. Assist with external and internal audit requests by pulling the data needed. Assist the accounting team with any adhoc project as needed.
