Description

Amazon Games is looking for a talented and dedicated Producer that will maintain and uphold the vision for the game with all internal and external partners.

In this position, you will be part of the New World team in Sunny Irvine, CA. In New World, players will fight for survival as they explore and conquer the mysterious island of Aeternum. As a Producer on our team, you will work with other Producers and Product Owners to help drive and facilitate game features and content. You will foster cooperation and teamwork, be involved in the production for our games, and help open new creative possibilities for our game development teams.

Key job responsibilities

In This Role You Will

• Create and maintain feature and content schedules.
• Own implementing team wide improvements.
• Work with QA partners on bug priorities and test plans.
• Fulfill the role of Scrum Master.
• Help clear interdepartmental dependencies to keep pipelines moving.
• Work with production partners and product owners to plan and prioritize day to day work.

Basic Qualifications

• Top-notch communication skills, fluent written and spoken English
• 3+ years of experience in the role of a Game Producer, preferably MMO game(s)
• 2+ years of experience handling multiple projects with different deadlines and requirements
• 2+ years of hands-on experience running games in live-ops stage

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Steam to publish titles
• 3+ Years Public Relations or Community facing experience
• Knowledgeable of game industry trends and enjoys playing games
• 3+ Years QA experience
• Being a gamer is a must
• Proactive approach, high sense of ownership and a team player’s mindset
• Ability to think on your feet and respond to rapidly changing data sets in real time
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Deep interest and understanding of the industry and games
• Familiarity with Twitch

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $55,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $132,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
