The Marketing Coordinator for Games will support the Senior Manager, Marketing on brand and product marketing strategy/activity across assigned licensed titles within the Disney Games global portfolio by partnering with licensees to deliver world-class campaigns. You will help each Games licensee successfully create/execute go-to-market plans that build brand awareness, engage consumers, and drive conversions through thoughtful brand storytelling, data-driven insights, and creative innovation – all grounded in a consumer-centric integrated marketing approach. The Marketing Coordinator plays a critical role in coordinating schedules, details, and deliverables across all assigned titles and is driven, collaborative, organized, and creative.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, PR, Franchise, and Legal) to secure alignment/feedback/approvals on all major marketing deliverables
- Support the Senior Manager, Brand Marketing in providing insightful guidance/feedback and routing/managing approvals for go-to-market plans, assets, and activations with licensees
- Draft and distribute guidance, updates, and protocols pertaining to assigned titles
- Oversee the routing/approvals of assets and plans with licensees and internal teams
- Foster relationships with both licensee and internal teams throughout TWDC
- Learn appropriate benchmarks and goals across greater marketing channels/campaigns
- Coordinate with regional teams on incoming/outgoing requests/approvals
- Develop knowledge of KPIs, common marketing strategies/tactics, and Disney Synergy programs
- Become a strong brand steward for TWDC brands to deliver on-brand marketing and creative
- Create and maintain asset management tools/directories to track/coordinate deliverables
- Coordinate all asset deliveries and ensure on-time deliverables for assigned titles
- Resourceful problem-solver with a can-do attitude; works well under pressure
- Self-starter with a highly productive work ethic and desire to learn/grow
- Highly organized, detail-oriented project manager
- Solid analytical skills; ability to analyze data and extrapolate insights
- Good written/verbal skills and presentation style; proficiency in KeyNote/PowerPoint
- 1+ years of experience in Marketing (preferably within the gaming industry)
- Outstanding interpersonal skills; ability to engage with a diverse range of personalities
- Experience in brand management, product marketing, user acquisition, or social/community
- Passion for the entertainment industry (gaming and consumer electronics, strongly preferred)
