Pelicana USA Inc., a leading international food franchise with over 3000 stores worldwide, is seeking a Full-time Bookkeeper to join our finance and accounting department. As a Bookkeeper, you will work closely with your manager to ensure accurate financial transactions and provide support in various accounting tasks. Responsibilities:

• Reconcile bank statements and prepare end-of-month financial documents
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements
• Collect and record checks and online payments, ensuring proper documentation
• Collaborate on ad-hoc, cross-departmental projects and handle inquiries from management
• Investigate and resolve unreasonable charges from online sales platforms
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports, analyzing and summarizing account information for management review
• Review employees' hours and process payroll according to the pay schedule
• Reconcile monthly online and store food sales under the restaurant business
• Manage accounts payable, including collecting and maintaining records of invoices and receipts
• Create and maintain accurate invoices based on sales orders

Requirements:

• Excellent attention to detail and understanding of basic accounting principles and journal entries
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
• Proficiency in English is essential; Korean language skills are preferred
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Strong analytical, communication, teamwork, and time management skills
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping

Education and Experience:

• Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas
• Previous bookkeeping experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field

Work Hours & Compensation

• Starting Date: October 1st, 2023
• Full-time Rate: $24/hour (3 months paid training)
