Job Description
  • The right person for this job will be required to order food and supplies, take care of delivery, cooking, cleaning and serving student lunches.
  • Training in HACCP and sanitation methods are necessary, or the qualifiying individual will obtain the trainings required.
  • All paper work, in compliance with the guidelines of the National School Lunch Program, including inventory, ordering and production will be completed by the cook.
  • The qualified applicant needs to have excellent math skills, organizational skills, and be a dependable self starting, team oriented person with possitive customer service skills.
  • This position is required to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. at a time along with working on your feet throughout the regular day.
  • This position works 5.5 hours per day and is less than 12 months. The work day begins at 7:45 am - 1:45 pm with 1/2 hr unpaid lunch each day.
  • The proper use of the kitchen equipment such as, ovens, steam tables, steamers and all storage areas will be the resposibility of the Cook.
