We can offer remote working options from the US, Canada, Mexico or if you prefer to have a hybrid/onsite working week, you can work from our hub in Culver City, CA or in our partner office in Atlanta, GA.

Right now we are looking for an experienced Frontend React Developer to help us create web based features for our game, and maintain our web game store. You’ll work on the game development team to ensure that our game and web store properly runs in all browsers. In addition, you’ll help build many upcoming new features that will tie our web experience to the app experience. This may include writing new React components in JSX, building new Redux mutators, skinning and layout positioning of said components in a responsive way to work on all browsers, front end web development and/or dealing with JSON data transport between services and the frontend.. You will also be responsible for pulling data from web services and various data channels and creating rich animated experiences in React for a user facing companion website that will enhance the overall player experience.

Here's what you will be doing:

• Work with our design, engineering, and product teams to implement functionality for the web platform
• Learn both the web and game technologies
• Turn product and feature ideas into technical specifications
• Collaborate proactively in a geographically-distributed team environment

To do this job, you will need:

• Thorough understanding of web tech (i.e. HTML, CSS, REST, and JSON) is required to implement new web based features and extend existing ones
• An ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to translate figma and screenshot designs into working web applications.
• Strong proficiency in Javascript, Typescript, React, JSX, and Redux
• Familiarity with code versioning tools (Git) and development tools
• 3-5+ years of web development experience creating large scalable web applications

For candidates in CA, CO, NJ, NY and WA, the annual salary range is $86,735 - $150,600 plus equity, bonus and benefits including healthcare benefits, retirement benefits, pet insurance, paid holidays, paid Scopely free days, and unlimited paid time-off. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
