Front End Developer Jobs

Duration: 05 months (potential extension)

Location: Remote (open to both east and west coast)

:

• Create useful documentation for use by engineers
• Ensure a user-friendly interface that meets business needs
• Create, configure, and implement standard functional UI components to meet design needs and share in an organized and reusable way
• Implement clean code solutions for SPA web applications
• Work with technical lead and non-technical stakeholders to create technical requirements from business requirements
• Collaborate with teammates and stakeholders to generate approved interface designs

Responsibilities:

• Meet technical needs pragmatically in an operationally sound way
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Identify and communicate risks and key decisions upward in a timely manner
• Share and learn from teammates
• Support during non-business hours as needed
• Create architectural diagrams and documentation to support the system
• Quickly troubleshoot issues and remediate independently
• Coding, updating, and modifying web pages and components
• Provide regular status reporting
• Assist with the implementation of deployment pipelines using AWS infrastructure (as Code)
• Collaborate with tech lead, project managers, business analysts, programmer analysts, and architects in conceptualizing and developing new software programs and applications.
• Estimate time requirements to deliver on capability requirements
• Design, run, and monitor tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging

Experience:

• Projects they have completed
• JS, typescript, react
• Would like someone who has stayed over a year or two in the last couple of jobs they had
• Capable of creating practical, sound designs based on product team requirements and collaborating with the project's technical lead
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automated release management required (AWS CDK or at least CloudFormation strongly preferred)
• Experience with Git tooling required (GitHub preferred)
• Expertise in UI design tools (Figma preferred)
• Experience working with REST APIs and understanding of OAuth flows/tokens (Postman a plus)
• Expertise in React/NextJS, Typescript, UI/UX Design, and functional SPA application component creation
• Standard business hours are required, but flexibility is available
• Minimum 7+ years of work experience as a software engineer focused on frontend web development
• Experience with VS Code preferred (adaptability and willingness to use VS Code required)
