GROW YOUR CAREER WITH US! Inland Transportation Services (ITS) is a full service Logistics Company, privately owned and operated in Spokane Washington. While we started logistics services in 2016, our roots with Inland Empire Paper date back to 1911.

ITS is seeking a motivated individual to work with and support our account managers to build relationships with carriers to move freight for our customers. As the Freight Broker, you will secure carriers at the right price and the right time to meet our customer’s needs. We seek someone who wants to be dedicated to the success of our customers and work at our Spokane, Washington business office in a team environment. This is a full time opportunity with possibilities of future advancement.

Responsibilities Include:

• Build relationships with owner-operators/trucking companies to further service customers as needed.
• Negotiate freight rates with customers and carriers.
• Handle day to day customer service responsibilities.
• Work within team to manage current and developing customers’ transportation needs.

• Self-motivated and customer service-oriented.
• High energy and upbeat personality.
• ITS is a team based operation, demonstrated teamwork is required.
• Updated skills in the areas of Social Media, Apps and other Web based applications
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable maneuvering through multiple web based systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• High Level Communication Skills and attention to detail.
• Trucking/Transportation experience not required but preferred.

The Logistics Freight Broker is a salaried position. Pay range is $50k to $60k per year. Final salary depends on experience level.
