Job Summary:
Free People is seeking an experienced and passionate Associate Manager of Digital Marketing to join our growing in-house team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing Paid Search, PMAX, Smart Shopping, YouTube, etc. campaigns that drive traffic, increase brand awareness, and maximize return on ad spend. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SEM and performance marketing, with a proven track record of delivering measurable results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance using SA360, Google Ads, Google Analytics, and other relevant tools.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as creative, merchandising, and social media to ensure that paid search strategies align with overall brand objectives and messaging.
- Stay current on the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continually improve campaign performance and drive innovation.
- Oversee budgeting process for multi-million-dollar program(s). Provide insight and guidance on daily flighting and spend pacing to ensure search accounts meet investment expectations. Help inform adjustments against bid strategies, budgets, etc to keep campaigns on course.
- In partnership with Paid Media Senior Manager and Paid Media Coordinators, develop and execute upon strategic initiatives for Paid Search program that align to key business priorities each month.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with search engine partners, such as Google and Bing, to capitalize on new opportunities and stay informed on platform updates.
- Partner with Paid Media Coordinators to help optimize campaigns to meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) such as click-through rate (CTR), cost per click (CPC), conversion rate, and return on ad spend (ROAS).
- Assist in creating annual roadmap for Paid Search efforts. Ensure channel plans align with key brand moments across not only Search, but other marketing channels as well.
Qualifications:
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- A passion for our business, an understanding of the Free People brand, and a desire to contribute to the company's growth and success.
- Experience managing complex Paid Search programs with activations across Text and Shopping/PMAX. Feed knowledge a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of Google Ads, Google Analytics, SA360 (or similar) and Microsoft Advertising.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in SEM or performance marketing, preferably in the fashion/retail industry.
- Familiarity with other digital marketing channels, such as SEO, YouTube, and Display a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Notes:
- This role will be responsible for ownership of paid media campaigns across our Free People and FP Movement brands.
