Free People began its journey in 1970, in a modest West Philadelphia storefront, offering plants and records, along with a few pieces of clothing. Though the name was changed to Urban Outfitters just a year later, Free People was revived as the company’s wholesale label in 1984. And it hasn’t looked back since.
The eclectic assortment quickly assembled behind it a fiercely loyal fan base, and this fueled the opening of FP’s first brick-and-mortar store in Paramus, NJ in 2002, along with the birth of freepeople.com in 2004, and the first mail-order catalog, which arrived in homes during the summer of 2005.
All the while, Free People has dedicated its energies to building a close-knit relationship with the FP community and continues to seek out new ways to foster and elevate this unique and meaningful bond.

Free People is seeking a passionate and analytical Paid Search Coordinator to join our growing in-house team. In this role, you will be responsible for hands-on optimizations across Paid Search (text ad), PMAX, Smart Shopping, YouTube, etc. campaigns that drive traffic, increase brand awareness, and maximize return on ad spend. This role is perfect for individuals who love working with data, enjoy diving into trends, and have a knack for turning complex information into actionable insights.
Responsibilities

• Stay current on the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continually improve campaign performance and drive innovation.
• Partner with Associate Manager to manage budget delivery, flighting, and pacing.
• Assist with campaign development – curate creative, research keyword ideas, suggest landing pages, develop ad copy, investigate audience opportunities, etc.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance using SA360, Google Ads, Google Analytics, and other relevant tools.
• Coordinate day-to-day trafficking, test execution, and troubleshooting as needed.
• Partner with in-house search team to manage day-to-day activities across Paid Search, PMAX, and YouTube accounts using data and trends to optimize and tweak campaigns and strategies.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• 0-2 years of hands-on experience in SEM or performance marketing, preferably in the fashion/retail industry. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• A passion for our business, an understanding of the Free People brand, and a desire to contribute to the company's growth and success.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and translate data into actionable proposals.
• Familiarity with other digital marketing channels, such as SEO, YouTube, and Display a plus.
• Basic understanding of Google Ads, Google Analytics, SA360 (or similar) and Microsoft Advertising.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field.
