Fleet Parts & Service Zone Manager - LA Market Area (SG7/SG8)

Responsibilities


Fleet Parts & Service Zone Manager (FZM) is Ford Pro’s corporate representative to large commercial and government fleet customers for all things Ford parts and service. FZM works collaboratively within the Fleet Service Operations (FSO) team and alongside the Ford Pro sales team to drive fleet productivity and brand loyalty while providing after-sales support to the customer.


Primary fleet accounts will be in California. Fleets will have vehicles located across the United States and some in Canada. Travel by air and sales vehicle within market will be required to perform duties. The main contacts are fleet managers, procurement managers, and maintenance managers at assigned fleets. A strong knowledge of dealership operations is required to manage relationships between the Fleet and Dealerships.


  • Distribute professional work product for internal and external audience via email, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Protect company resources and information. For example, manage a loyalty budget and leverage funds for a return on investment
  • Support mobile service initiatives
  • Represent “Voice of Fleet Customer” for product concerns
  • Leverage service concerns to improve fleet satisfaction with dedicated parts & service support
  • Increase Dealer/Ford Authorized Distributor (FAD) fleet parts wholesale and retail shop revenue
  • Understand dealership service and parts department processes to facilitate enhanced fleet experiences
  • Promote Ford Pro Parts and Service fleet programs and incentives


Qualifications


The minimum requirements we seek:


  • Live in/near the assigned metro market (Los Angeles)
  • Accommodate 5-10 nights/month overnight travel to meet with fleet customers
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Selected candidate may qualify for relocation benefits


Our preferred requirements:
  • Ford Fleet Network (FFN), Ford Fleet Care (FFC) Consolidated Billing, Ford Pro Maintenance (FPM), National Fleet Parts Pricing Program (NFPP)
  • Familiarity with:
  • OASIS/Professional Technician System (PTS) service publications, Recall types and bulletins, Global Common Quality Indicator System (GCQIS) concern reporting, Does II On The Web (DOW) parts information system, ECatalog parts catalog, STARS training, Rotunda diagnostic tools and software
  • Ability to effectively connect with variety of personalities and customer types from municipalities, regional utilities to multinational corporations
  • 4+ years of experience supporting automotive dealerships with experience in Sales, Service and Parts
  • Ability to frame a particular problem and see how their decision making will impact all stakeholder’s long term
  • Look for opportunities to proactively accomplish objectives with fleet customers, such as parts purchase behavior changes, aligning with Ford maintenance schedules and position statements
  • Understanding of fleet management or fleet experience
  • Take ownership in challenging situations and follows up until resolution
  • Commercial Vehicle Center (CVC) Program
  • Generate viable leads for Ford Pro Solutions - Telematics, Charging, and Fleet Management Services
  • Using resources to find and apply information such as Warranty Policy, Ford Protect Administration, One Warranty System (OWS) Claim Administration, DOW user manual, OEConnect (OEC) Dealer Locator
  • Capable of prioritizing urgent and important tasks, such as vehicle off road escalated cases
  • Excellent presentation skills, comfortable learning and presenting new material.
  • Field experience consulting with automotive dealerships in Sales, Service and Parts
  • Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated experience working across the Ford organization to accomplish a goal
  • Customer Online Parts Inquiry System (COPIS), Vehicle Off Road (VOR) escalation processes for backorder parts and technical assistance, Salesforce, and Global Contact Center Technology (GCCT) case management system
