Product Manager, Fleet Response

Waymo’s Product Management Team is a mission-driven team responsible for writing and enacting first-of-their-kind playbooks to bring fully autonomous driving technology to market. Our team develops simple solutions for complex problems by orchestrating cross-functional efforts to safely drive Waymo’s technology and the products it enables forward. We do this by understanding the customer, the business, and the technology. We are humble about the scope of our work, collaborative in our approach to problem-solving, and ambitious about our vision for the future.
In This Role You'll

• Quickly understand new failure modes to develop rapid mitigations as needed
• Evangelize with partner teams, influence without authority to realize roadmap
• Partner with engineering, operations, and finance to develop and organize a scalable workforce
• Comprehensively analyze problem space to develop long term and short term roadmap

At a Minimum We’d Like You To Have

• Strong communication skills
• Strong bias-to-action, independence, and ability to execute
• 5+ years of product management experience at a highly technical, large scale organization
• Demonstrated ability to develop a roadmap out of a large, unstructured space
• BS degree in Computer Science degree or related technical degree

It’s Preferred If You Have

• Technically adjacent skills such as prior engineering or PM on technical product experience
• MBA degree and/or consulting experience

The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is listed below. Salary Range
$187,000—$233,000 USD
