Food Runner Jobs

We are looking for an energetic and professional food runner to join KYU restaurant. You will perform a range of tasks including preparing tables, serving orders, explaining meals, and facilitating collaboration between kitchen and wait staff. As a support/ food runner, your ultimate goal will be to provide our guests with outstanding customer service and actively help to improve their overall dining experience. The ideal candidate will be friendly, professional, and demonstrate excellent communication skills
Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the front-of-house team to create a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for guests.
• Provide exceptional guest service by addressing any guest inquiries, needs, or concerns promptly.
• Assist in running food orders from the kitchen to the dining area and ensure accuracy of all orders.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth and timely service.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including bussing and resetting tables as needed.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of food and equipment.
• Collaborate closely with servers, ensuring accurate delivery of each dish to the correct guest.
• Assist the kitchen team in efficiently expediting and delivering dishes to guests’ tables, ensuring proper presentation and timing.
• Assist in restocking and replenishing inventory as needed.

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift items for extended periods.
• Knowledge of Asian cuisine and culinary techniques is a plus.
• Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt.
• Previous experience in a restaurant support or food runner role is preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
