Kindred Fare - A Spirited Cookeryis a full-service restaurant located in the heart of the Finger Lakes with a focus on scratch cookery using seasonal & local ingredients. On Monday nights our culinary team works together to build a three-course themed prix fixe, something our community looks forward to each week. Food Runner

We are currently looking for experienced hospitality professionals to work on the floor with us for busy nights at our lively & social restaurant. Candidate must have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate with kitchen staff and front of house staff. This is not an entry level restaurant position!

What We Expect From You

• To complete side work & cleaning duties to standard
• Be a professional: remain composed -you are “on stage” at all times that you are in the dining room
• Basic wine, beer & cocktail recipe knowledge- advanced & regional knowledge preferred
• To assist all team members with bussing, running food, guest assistance, side work & other tasks where needed
• Full-time or part-time availability & willingness to be flexible with our team as needed
• Effective communication & team work- you need to be able to work with all service staff all while communicating with the kitchen & guests
• To maintain a clean and organized dining room & all FOH stations
• 2+ year of previous restaurant experience -high-end & high-volume setting preferred
• To be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
• To stay current & creative with culinary, beverage & hospitality trends
• Strong customer service & communication skills
• Strong organizational & prioritization skills
• Advanced knowledge of our food menu, preparation & presentation
