Food & Beverage Manager | The Landing

KPMG Lakehouse boasts 800 single king bed sleeping rooms, over 100,000 square feet of multi-purpose meeting space, along with 4 unique food and beverage venues including a 500+ seat three meal venue that features 8 diverse culinary experiences.

The Landing offers both indoor and outdoor seating, including fire pits, nightly entertainment, and games. We are looking for a passionate Food & Beverage Manager to join our team and lead all aspects of the facility's primary social venue.

Successful candidates will have a passion for food and beverage, the ability to motivate and hold a great team accountable, and thrive in a fast paced environment. This person will be expected to lead by example and uplift our colleagues during busy moments.

Food & Beverage Manager responsibilities include:

• Work with team leaders to creatively enhance the participant experience within beverage outlets through collaboration with facility leaders and outside vendors
• Work closely with Event Planning team to ensure effective scheduling of beverage team members to ensure a seamless F&B experience by all participants
• Promote the facility's primary social venue, The Landing, assist with menu planning and offer support to servers and bartenders during peak periods
• Monitor and control budgets with a focus on facility beverage cost and inventory control
• Ensure staff members follow company policies and procedures
• Collaborate with the Director of Food & Beverage to effectively train and develop a team of skilled colleagues to service the facility's beverage outlets
• Maintain a working knowledge of local laws and company policies as it pertains to facility alcohol service, and ensure team members are properly trained in responsible alcohol service

• Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
• A minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in food and beverage leadership, preferably in a similar setting
• Refined oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, participants and business partners
