Financial Manager, Financial Planning And Analytics (Fp&A)

This position will serve as a critical member of an expanding finance department within ACAMS with the core responsibility of supporting the various activities across the department, including: financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, investor/board presentation, and cross-department planning and support. While this role will focus on financial planning and analysis (FP&A), there will be opportunities to work on various finance related ad-hoc projects as they arise.

This position offers visibility across all areas of a growing private equity owned business with a global presence. There will be significant opportunity for business impact from day one.

The Manager of Finance will directly report to the Senior Manager of Finance.

Experience:

• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint).
• Experience building and maintaining complex financial models (Excel).
• 4+ years of experience in a finance role, preferably in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), investment banking, private equity (or private equity owned business), valuation, consulting, or related role.
• Experience leading a workstream/project and interacting with various stakeholders with limited oversight.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience synthesizing large data sets into interpretable insights.
• Experience using ERP software (preferred: NetSuite/SmartView, SalesForce).

• Comfortable with ambiguity and exhibits a "figure it out" attitude, particularly given the growing nature of the finance team.
• Ability to independently manage day-to-day responsibilities of certain assigned workstreams, supported by the Senior Manager.
• Leverages financial and business acumen to quickly understand, analyze, and address business results and issues.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in business (finance, accounting, economics). Other degrees considered based on relevant work experience.
